I found the ever-elusive ASM School website, which is a pretty good Gameboy Assembly tutorial:

I have another big project in the works right now, so once I finish that I'll write up a tutorial or two on my assembly adventures.
post those results! and once i get my stuff online i'll link you.. i'm working on a GB API environment and a place pixel function in ASM right now using the RGBDS assembler and GB Assembler Studio for the IDE
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I cant wait to see what you end up with.
ReplyDeleteFYI, the project I'm working on is a CNC PCB milling machine, driven by a microcontroller. I finally got my parts the other day so I'm going to be able to start work on it. This gameboy development has been set to the side while I finish my milling machine, but I'm hoping to get back to it before summer's end.
